We decided to kick start this website to promote and talk about skills, resources, employment and immigration issuesthat are important to regional Australia.

Regional Australia has received quite a bit of press coverage, holds more political and economic clout and become a national issue since the “independents” sided with the Labor Party to form government in Australia. 

The 2011 Australian Federal Budget has ear marked projects and funding for regional Australia and there is a supposed swag of immigration reforms that should be of benefit to the employers, residents and the economy of regional Australia.
